Your doctor must be aware of if you have any
of the following conditions for effective treatment using Femara ( Japanese : フェマーラ ) (Letrozole):
Tell the doctor if you have any kind of allergies to Letrozole. Tell the doctor
whether you have not completely passed through your menopause phase. Your
doctor should also know whether or not you've liver disease. Letrozole can
cause harm to an unborn baby. So, don't use it if you are pregnant. Inform the
doctor without any hesitancy if you become pregnant during the treatment.
Though it is yet to be confirmed whether Letrozole passes into breast milk, you
shouldn't take any risk and avoid breast-feeding your baby while taking generic
Femara. Speak to your doctor if you have osteoporosis or weak bone problems.
Femara, Letrozole must not be taken with estrogens like hormone replacement therapy or birth control pills. This generic drug may also interact with dietary supplements such as androstenedione or DHEA, prasterone and tamoxifen.
